Terms of Service

By using Dopamine Kick (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Dopamine Kick provides a habit tracking and quest app that helps you build daily habits, keep streaks, and complete one-off goals with reminders. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
• Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create in the Service. By creating content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it back to you solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You're responsible for the content you create and confirm you have the right to use it. You agree not to submit content that is illegal, infringes on others' rights, or violates these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload malicious code or content

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. This is a small, independently run project — to the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act (NZ) that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
